We are going to be adding our services to our blog every day for the next few days!!! Today we will start with our Custom Facial Services!!!

The greatest thing about Esthétique is, we customize EVERYTHING for you, from start to finish. From Facials and waxing, to lip glosses, lipsticks and my favorite skin care line,  Bioelements Custom Blended SKIN CARE, where we actually can put additives in it targeted to your unique skin care issues.

These 3 facials are WONDERFUL the week before the wedding.  We customize it from start to finish,  giving you exactly what you NEED, not what you don't. 

Facials should NEVER lead to breakouts, so do one the week of your wedding, just don't do anything too drastic, like a chemical peel. 

For our brides we suggest a week before the wedding to do the Bioelements Custom Facial and/ or the Bioelements Calming Facial or Stress Solutions Facial to hydrate, soothe and pamper the skin, getting it ready for your wedding day close up! We even add a complimentary lip and eye treatment along with our Hand Paraffin while you have your facial to have your hands looking soft and smooth. Bling, Bling!

This weekend's wedding...

Omg! Can I tell you how much I love Dean Thorsen, from Thorsen Photography?? ! That man ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS gets the money shots!

Dean and I worked together this past weekend for Becky's wedding.  Becky and her entire bridal party were so much fun!!!!  We laughed and cut up and they really were open to me doing just about anything! I love when people give me free creative license!!!!!!!!!! I used our new Airbrush Matte Water resistant foundation instead of the Temptu..with Saturday's weather being a bit humid I decided to try it out.  IT photographs so beautiful, ay? Great for very oily skin and longer lasting than our Temptu Foundation!!!!!!!! (We will still use Temptu for the really dry skin brides and for winter weddings)

Dean, thank you for always getting those wonderful beauty shots! You rock!!!!!!!!!

Becky, it was a pleasure being a part of your special day! I look forward to seeing more pictures to come!

New wedding photos!!!!!!!!!

    My beautiful bride, Tiffany Lin, emailed me some photos yesterday and I just had to share. Tiffany was so beautiful and stunning and smiled the whole day. Her and her family were beyond sweet and I enjoyed them on their wedding day!

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to take a moment and let you all know (if you don't already) about some wonderful sites for wedding vendor reviews.  When planning your wedding check out
www.yelp.com, www.projectwedding.com and www.weddingwire.com

YELP is a  site that reviews businesses all over the US.  I am slightly addicted to it. (however I need to find time to write more reviews!) Project Wedding & Wedding Wire  is designed JUST for wedding vendors.

After your wedding, if you plan on doing your wedding reviews, add them to Yelp, Project Wedding and Wedding Wire.  Most vendors would love honest feedback (myself included) and it is becoming a wonderful resource for brides all over the US.

We (vendors & business owners) can only get better if we know how we are doing. It will be a wonderful resource for future brides as well.

Parafango anyone??

Everytime I say this I have to giggle..I keep thinking of those Fandango puppet in the theatre (they crack me up)

While on my honeymoon in November last year, I had this divine treatment in Venezia called Parafango.

What is Parafango? Well, I will give you a itty bitty Italian lesson...BUT JUST an itty bitty one. :)

Parafango is a mixture of parafin wax and dehydrated mud (in Italian, Fango means Mud). It's a perfect combination for treating cellulite and speeding inch loss due to the thermal properties of paraffin and he detoxifying effects of the mud. During a treatment, the warm parafango stimulates the lymphatic flow in the body and draws out toxins from around the fat cells, resulting in immediate, noticeable results. Did I tell you the skin feels divine afterwards? Mamma Mia!

This treatment can be done without a shower in our rooms and lasts about an hour.

We have just completed our entire SPA menu for Esthétique!!!!!!!!!!

When I arrive on location, not only do I airbrush the brides face, I airbrush her décollete, her shoulders, arms and if she needs it, her back! YES! HER BACK! A bride's back is the one thing that is just as important with strapless gowns in more than 90% of weddings these days.

So what do you do to get your back in tip top shape? Have a relaxing and wonderful Sensory Back Treatment a day or two before your wedding (and if possible the morning OF your wedding)!!!!

What is involved in a Sensory Back Treatment?

We start with a deep cleansing

Exfoliation with an enzyme or exfoliant scrub in a scented flavor if you choose....Tropical Ginger, Green Tea, Rosemary Mint, Tangerine, Lavender or Vanilla..or aroma free if you desire.

Extractions (if needed)

A Mud Type Masque or a Deep Hydration Masque (depending on what you need) with warm towels applied to your back while we gently massage your arms and feet while your masque sits. (Drooling yet???)

After we remove the towel, we then give you a light back massage with warm oil in your "flavor" for an additional 10 minutes...(chocolate cake, Chocolate Cherry, Chocolate Raspberry, Chocolate Mint)

We then finish your treatment with a very hydrating lotion that will leave your skin glowing and fresh.

As I type this I wish SOMEONE would do that on ME!!!!!!!

Yes ladies, it's that time again! BIBLE STUDY!!!!!!!!!!

Every March and September, my gal pals and I gather round for some good fun and drinks, and cruise through each of the issues of the Fall and Spring Fashion Magazines..you know, the thick fat ones. The only ones really worth buying....you know, the FASHION BIBLES!!!!!!!!!!....which is why we call this Bible Study. *hehehe* Me and my gals worship fashion and all things pretty. I dream of being a size 2. :)

As we gossip about the issues coming out, we take bets on what trashy celebrity will be on the September issues of Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, or Elle. Last year we had the tragic Lindsey Lohan (or however you spell her name. Can someone tell me WHY she is a celebrity again?) and Seinna Miller...(or however you spell HER name) Why does my beloved Vogue insist on putting no good celebs on the covers? At least put one on there that isn't a spoiled brat if you insist on putting them on the covers. Sheesh.

MY quick wit and sick sense of humor tell me this year we are going to see Britney Spears, Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham on the covers...wouldn't that be a riot???

Stay off my stinkin' magazines you trashy celebrities! I don't want you on there...and I am a DIE HARD Fashion Bible Fan....Bring me back my SUPERMODELS!!!!! (stomps feet and walks away from this post for a brief moment to have her moment of silence and OHMMMMMMM)

Inspirational Wedding Hairstyles.....

As I sit here on a Friday night getting ready for my 3 weddings tomorrow, I am also working on 2009 Wedding Designs. I work for several fashion designers and we are already preparing for Spring 2009!!!!

I also assist brides in the design of their wedding day... I have taken a part time job as Wedding Stylist! *hehe*

While I was surfing looking for hair inspiration for the 2009 wedding show, (and how I can tear it apart) I thought how fun it would be to see your ideas and what you are doing for your own hair for your wedding! If you are stuck and need help, let me help you choose your beauty to go with your dress!!!!!
